Who We Are
Welcome to The Pink Indian Food Trailer, your destination for authentic Punjabi flavours on wheels! Based in the heart of the East Midlands, we are passionate artisans dedicated to bringing the essence of home cooked Punjabi cuisine to your palate.
Our mission is simple, to introduce you to the rich, vibrant and comforting flavours that are based on staples in Indian households. Each dish we serve is thoughtfully crafted using traditional recipes, several of which have been lovingly passed down through generations, ensuring that every bite transports you to the heart of the Punjab.
Our lead chefs have the combined experience of over 40 years of cooking and culinary service and have developed several themed and bespoke menus at client request. Innovative creations have included turkey & sage koftah curry, a winner at Christmas parties and forever popular masala fish curry using smoked haddock, cod, salmon, king prawns in an earthy spice blend. We have also served up breakfast: full anglo/indian, chilli omelette & sausage baps and wraps.

TPI were proud to provide service throughout the festival including pre & post crew catering and taking part in the truly wonderful and unique Utopia festival experience that is Shambala.

60th Birthday

It was an absolute pleasure to serve at a joint 60th Birthday & 35 Year Wedding Anniversary in Irchester.

Our menu features a delightful assortment of traditional street food snacks, delectable roti wraps and mouth-watering curry bowls & thalis, all designed to deliver an unforgettable culinary experience. Here are some highlights from our offerings.
Street Snacks
& Wraps

Samosa, Spring Rolls and Pakora Bowls (V)
Crispy pastries or pakora including spiced vegetables served with our homemade selection of chutneys.
Chaana Masala Chaat (V)
Samosas topped with chickpea curry, dressed with spiced onions, tomatoes and drizzles of chutney.

Roti Wraps
Tender chicken cooked in a spicy masala sauce, wrapped in fresh roti, salad and homemade sauces. Or choose marinated paneer (V) as a vegetarian option.
Dirty Fries with Keema 'n' Cheese
A fusion of flavours featuring crispy fries topped with spiced minced meat curry and gooey cheese.
Masala Fries (V)
Double cooked fries, sprinkled with a blend of Indian spices and salad relish.
Curry Bowls
(with Rice & Naan)

The Buttered Chicken
Succulent chicken pieces simmered in a rich creamy tomato sauce. A timeless favourite that embodies Punjabi comfort.
Masala Fish Curry
A medley of smoked haddock, cod, salmon and king prawns and garden peas in an Amritsari spiced curry.

Kicking Keema
A hearty minced lamb or beef madras curry and mixed peppers, bursting with flavour and an additional kick of heat.
Bombayed Chickpeas (V)
A delicious Punjabi-style chickpea curry with Bombay potatoes that is both aromatic and fulfilling.
Jewel Daal (V)
A variety of four specifically selected pulses in a rich, garlic, ginger, cumin flavoured curry.
Thalis
& Platters

Punjabis rarely gather to eat just one dish and it's no surprise that Thalis & sharing Platters are really popular with our guests - more suited to venues where tables & seating are accessible.
We typically serve street snacks and a selection of curries with rice, naan, salad and chutneys - allowing a deeper experience and indulgence of our menu.
